ROSELAWN TRIBUTE CENTRE AND CREMATORIUM

While in Ontario currently a funeral home may not own or house a crematory on its property, a crematorium facility is involved with more than half the services our funeral home handles.

We feel it is important that families know where the cremation takes place, the quality of the facility in which the crematory is housed, and that they may conveniently accompany their loved ones. When cremation is requested, we are pleased to arrange it to be carried out right here in our community at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium in Maitland - owned by the Irvine family, not by Irvine Funeral Home.

Eastern Ontario's most modern cremation facility
Many families are pleased to learn that now cremation can occur right here in our own community. Located just outside of Brockville at Maitland the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium is a state of the art facility offering a level of professionalism not available in nearby cities.

Roselawn Crematorium
Unlike older crematories which are rather industrial in design, the Roselawn Crematorium provides a more dignified facility that is "operating room" clean and orderly. Families who need greater peace of mind may even witness the cremation process from the adjacent witnessing room. Roselawn also incorporates the most up to date environmental protection with sophisticated monitoring systems.

Roselawn's Chapel and Gathering Room
We encourage families to accompany their loved one to the crematory. Many have appreciated the opportunity. Unlike what some may expect, a tranquil surrounding is offered. In this chapel or gathering area, many families have held a final prayer prior to cremation, or simply had a last quiet moment to say good bye. They take their leave secure in knowing where their loved one was cared for.

Roselawn Tower Columbarium
While Irvine Funeral Home is pleased to arrange with any cemetery of your choice, may we take this opportunity to introduce you to a unique option - an indoor columbarium located in the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium. Here, families may visit out of the elements and in comforting surroundings. The urn is permanently placed in either a glass or granite niche. Some personalize the urn or include a porcelin photograph of the deceased. Columbaria are also located outdoors in the garden area.
